I believe this may be a cousin of an ancestor. Many thanks for saving me a trip across England!My direct ancestor was a Jane Sutherland who was alive in Happisbugh on the 1851 census. She was born in 1771 though. I also know her daughter was married to the local baker.I once met a great aunt who recalled her maiden aunt, Hannah Pilch, who was also from Happisburgh, had told her of meeting Jane Sutherland in about 1850 when that aunt was a young girl!
